Put these rules in it, keep it short, and remove any rule that doesn't change what you'd do:- Stack: SvelteKit with Svelte 5 and TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, shadcn-svelte for components, Phosphor for icons, Supabase for the database and logins, Cloudflare Workers for hosting, GitHub for version control, pnpm for packages. Never add another tool without asking me first.- Design: PRODUCT.md says who we are, DESIGN.md says how everything looks. Questions

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You type sentences, not code. When something errors, you paste the error back into Claude. That's most of what I did when I started.
Which Claude plan do I need?
Pro or higher, since Claude Code isn't on the free plan. The kit itself is free.
Does it work on Windows?
Yes. The prompts file has the Windows install lines next to the Mac ones, and shows you how to tell PowerShell from Command Prompt.
I'd rather use React, or my own hosting. Does the kit still work?
Yes. Change the stack line in CLAUDE.md and the prompts stay the same.
Is what I build safe to put online?
The go-live checklist covers the 4 things that bite first: keys on GitHub, open database tables, a CRM without a login and public sign-ups. Build Your Own Software walks through the full security pass.
Can I use the skills in the Claude app too?
Yes. Zip the skill's folder and upload it under Customize, then Skills. The same file works in chat, Cowork and Claude Code.
